Age in September: 2 yrs 7 mos to 3 yrs 5 mos

For most children this will be their first school experience, and the focus is on facilitating a successful separation process and on developing social skills. The class follows a predictable schedule of meeting time, free play, music, creative movement, art, stories, lunch and outdoor play. The children learn to relate to adults and other children away from their home environment, to share and cooperate, and to verbalize their needs and feelings.
